At Humanity Lodge, the reputed success of the fishing goes without say because we stock 3 of our 9 lakes every week, from mid-may until Thanksgiving. Over the course of the season, the thousands of 9-13 inch native trout enchant fishermen, and fisherwomen, in search of quantity and quality.

For those who prefer the challenge of fishing strictly for native trout, Humanity Lodge offers two big lakes, lake Francois and lake Fontaine, that are home to native trout that can tip the scales at up to 4 lbs.

Lake Florent, a lake abounding with nothing but trophy speckled trout, reached record-highs in 2010, not only for the number of catches, but by the average weight. On average, in 2010, the average speckled trout weighed an incredible 2.5 lbs. Imagine if you can catching a beautiful, bright red 4lb speckled trout on a dry fly makes one salivate at the prospect of fishing in Charlevoix, at Humanity Lodge, right?

The diversity of our cottages allows big groups (8-16) as well as small families(2-6) to lodge comfortably. The quota is 20 trout/permit
